About Us

The cleanest air, the purest water, the freshest cheese.
COME AND MEET THE GOATS BEHIND THE MAGIC!
The Honomu Goat Dairy sits on nearly 15 acres of beautiful Hamakua Coast, overlooking the ocean. There are always baby goats to play with - free of charge! The experience is energizing, rejuvenating, and hysterical. You'll leave with happy memories and lots of pictures, but maybe a little muddier than when you went in.
Ours is the only herd of registered, purebred, Nubian goats producing specialty cheeses in the state of Hawaii. The St. Isidore herd also provides milk for The Hula Girl Soap Co. and the Hula Momma Candy Co. It is our goats, along with the lush natural pastures grown on former sugar cane fields, that make our Chevre, our confections, and our soaps so special. We are Animal Welfare approved and members of the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and participate in their Linear Appraisal program and DNA testing to ensure that our goats are being the best they can be.
WHY SHOWER WITH SOAP MADE BY THE HULA GIRL SOAP COMPANY?
With a pH value close to that of our natural skin, goat milk is extremely nourishing and its beneficial vitamins and nutrients can be more easily absorbed. It is high in Vitamins A, C and E, which may reduce signs of aging.
Goat milk soaps contain naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acids to gently cleanse the skin. Other soaps use harsh artificial acids which can cause irritation and dryness. The high fat content of goat milk makes our soaps extremely moisturizing. It is beneficial to all skin types and may be an especially great option for those suffering from skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, or just dry skin. Try a bar today and see the difference that goat milk soap can make for your skin!
